01Certify the compute

Ownership and selling authority are reviewed. Every GPU receives individual Voltry condition evidence.

02Qualify the buyer

Business identity, US deployment, funding and bid security come before a binding bid.

03Let the market price it

Five business days of sealed bidding, followed by one best-and-final round for the strongest qualified bidders.

04Coordinate the close

Independent escrow, insured delivery and serialized manifests connect the award to settlement.

05Sealed bids. One final round.

The standard auction runs for five business days. Qualified buyers may improve their own bids. RackUnion does not reveal competing amounts. The strongest qualified bidders receive one best-and-final round.

  • The highest qualified bid wins by default.
  • A lower bid may be selected only for materially stronger closing certainty or greater inventory coverage, with the reason recorded.
  • A reserve-meeting qualified bid binds the seller.
  • If reserve is not met, a 48-hour private negotiation window begins. A sale is not automatic.
06Settlement has a sequence.

The winning buyer funds escrow within two business days. The buyer or lender funds 100% into independent escrow before pickup. RackUnion never holds customer funds.

  • Cargo insurance covers at least the transaction value.
  • The buyer selects and contracts directly with the carrier.
  • The carrier signs the serialized pickup manifest. Transit risk transfers at pickup.
  • The buyer has two business days for delivery verification and may accept early.
  • Undisputed funds release on acceptance or expiration of the window. Eligible claims hold only disputed amounts.

Title transfers under the purchase agreement after cleared settlement. Transaction terms govern each closing.
